I definitely agree that this is an issue. I receive calls from telemarketers all the time and I find it very annoying. It is interesting that you stated you would team up with other websites that already work to put an end to this nuisance. I would like to hear more about how you plan on making money with this idea.
Sarah, I think that using statistics from reputable sources in your sales pitch to support your idea was a good move. It really helps people understand that this issue affects a lot of people and needs to be solved. Then following that with your solution provides a seamless transition in the viewers mind from problem recognition to a possible solution. I think this was a very effective sales pitch.
I think that your idea to block telemarketers from calling you all time. I get about 5 random phone calls a day and when applying for jobs, you may think you’re getting an important call, but instead you get some random person trying to get your money. I think you do need a better idea on how youre going to be marketing this idea and finding an end all solution or even advocate for a new idea to have huge access to peoples phones, like social media.
